Week 2-Spring term-Written by Class 3 in computing

Hello Everyone

We are writing from our Computing lesson. Each of us has written a blog today. Here are some things we would like to tell you about last week.

In RE we were learning about Jesus in art. We looked at some pieces of art by different artists and made our own pictures of Jesus. We made our work pink by adding an explanation and using because or why-Eleanor and Mercedes

Our new topic is the Mayans and we have been working hard at it already-Madeline and Daisy

In PE we were learning dance-Frank and Ben

In maths we have been working on column subtraction. It was tricky but we did well- Kiera and Muireann

Last week all of us started our Mayan masks. We had to rip up newspaper and stick it on a blown up balloon-Will, Thomas and Kai

We have been learning about the Mayans with Mrs Wilson, it was great. We learnt so much, like they were alive before Jesus-Sophie and Amber

In music we were learning about notes and how to make our own music. We did this wth Mrs Stewart-Lily and Finty

In PE we were learning the skills for Tennis-Cruz and Jimmy

On Friday we were all tired after a busy week, we did RE and then after lunch we did PE-Curtis and Youssef

In English we have been learning phonics-Stanley and William B

On Thursday we started to do paper mache-Jack and William T

We have been doing mini meditations in class to make us feel calm and confident-Euan and Max

In science we have been learning about how to have a balanced diet-Bailey and Puneet

Last week we bought in some incredible Mayan homework-Joseph, Remi and Amelia

Reading in Class 3

Hello

This morning I have been checking over home-school contact books to see that they are being used correctly. I have noticed that many children are not reading daily and are not recording what they have read. Please can you make sure that children read at home regually and their book is signed.

Thank you

Miss Lean
