Treasure to be found at St Ippolyts!
There was an excited atmosphere as a number of families tried their luck at finding the treasure around the grounds after school on Friday. Before investigating, delicious and well needed refreshments were on offer, providing both children and adults with the fuel for a few hours of exploring.
Families were given a number of tricky photographs that had been taken around the school, village green and extending across to the church. It was lovely to see children and parents deep in conversation trying to spot the clues and also a bit of collaboration thrown in for those couple of really tricky photos. Gold coins for those who took part. Congratulations to Bethan (Class 1) and her family, being the quickest and finding the most clues.
This is the first time we have tried a treasure hunt and it has been a great success so a huge THANK YOU to everyone who supported the PTA in another new venture.
Thank you to Miss Lean and Miss Patston who took time to mark the maps and to all the PTA committee who dedicated time to this event. A special thanks to Chair, Nicola Allenby and Vice, Dee Soden for their creative photography skills and taking the time to generate the treasure hunt.
